Sivakumar Alagumalai
Siva is Dean (UG – Global) @ SP Jain School of Global Management, and oversees developments and delivery of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Economics (BEc), Bachelor of Business Communication (BBC), and Bachelor of Data Science (BDS) programs across four campuses (Sydney, Singapore, Dubai and Mumbai). He is an elected member of the Institution’s Senior Management Team, Academic Board, Examination Board, and Chair the Learning, Teaching & Quality Assurance Committee. He also leads the Future Technologies Work Group, and provides guidance and advice to three postgraduate programs in Data Science, AI and IT-embedded Business (Marketing, Finance/Accounting & Entrepreneurship).
Siva provided senior leadership directions in schools, Department/Ministry of Education, Higher Education and two listed companies. He has been consulted on projects sponsored by DECD, DEEWR, UNESCO and the World Bank, and innovations of curriculum, assessment and evaluation in Singapore, Malaysia, Canada (Manitoba), USA (Boston), New Zealand, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines. He is actively involved with developments in large-scale international studies such as TALIS, TIMSS, and PISA. While at the University of Adelaide, he formed and led the Transdisciplinary Measurement and Evaluation Group (TMERG).
