Ann M Rogerson
Ann is the Associate Dean (Education) for the Faculty of Business at the University of Wollongong, and chairs a number of committees and working group including UOW's Academic Integrity Advisory Group. Ann holds Masters degrees in Management, as well as one in Higher Education, and her doctorate was on workplace communication and demographic influences. She researches in academic integrity related issues.
As a passionate educator, Ann is keen that students are engaged in developing lifelong learning skills while connecting their learning experiences to theory and real world contexts and their future workplaces. She continually assesses and seeks to improve her own teaching and learning skills through feedback, reflection, study and research, sharing her discoveries with colleagues, and drawing on her industry experience.
Ann’s commitment to business education extends beyond her discipline area of organisational behaviour and interpersonal communication to the increasingly prominent area of academic integrity. She actively advocates and shares ways of educating staff and students about academic integrity issues and contract cheating which has led to local, national and international recognition.
