Alan Merritt
Alan Merritt is a Registered Nurse with a wide range of experience in varied nursing, healthcare and regulation contexts. Alan has been a clinician, manager and educator in the health sector, an academic in the tertiary education sector, and has overseen accreditation in Nursing and Midwifery, and Medical practitioner accreditation. Alan is also a past board member of the ACT Nursing and Midwifery Board. Alan is currently working in a role that involves close collaboration with national education providers to facilitate the accreditation of medical education programs. Alan’s interests are in the facilitation of learning, nursing in the community, and exploring the ways that artistry and tacit knowledge that a profession holds are expressed.
